“On May 8, 2020, John Heinricy test drove a Hennessey-prepared 2020 C8 Corvette Stingray Z51 (rear spoiler removed) with 650 HP (Hennessey stainless steel exhaust upgrades & 135 HP Nitrous Express system – not twin turbo) to a top speed of 205.1 mph (confirmed by VBox GPS) at the Continental Tires Proving Grounds in Uvalde, Texas. This is the first C8 Corvette to break the 200 mph mark.”
